Lean on the Holy Spirit
John 16:13 (KJV)
“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He shall shew you things to come.” – John 16:13 (KJV)
As we navigate new beginnings it is of paramount importance for us to lean on the Holy Spirit Who is our Counsellor, Comforter, Advocate, Protector, and Wisdom Giver. It is the Holy Spirit Who we can depend on for discernment and guidance to arrive at the best decision. Allow Him to influence your decision-making process – He knows the mind of Christ in every situation.
The Spirit of God also knows the diabolical entrapments of the devil for your life and mine, and as such, He is able to show us divine strategies to defeat him. Be informed brethren that it matters not what new beginnings you are navigating, whether it is the acquisition of a new home, car, a business venture, promotion on the job, becoming a first-time parent and /or a new convert of the Lord Jesus Christ; we need to lean on the Holy Spirit for spiritual guidance in all aspects of our lives. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 reminds us to “Pray without ceasing” – (KJV).
Paul Bunday, author of “He’s Listening So Talk to Him!” stated, “Central to every human relationship we experience with our Creator God, our relationship with Him is expressed, in prayer. Prayer is God’s amazing gift to us”. Let’s exercise this gift today, for the Holy Spirit will help us in our moments of weakness, Romans 8:26. He knows what we need even before we ask, Matthew 6:8 (KJV). Lean on Him.
Pray
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we thank You for the infilling of Your Holy Spirit in our lives. As we embark on a new chapter in our lives, we ask for wisdom, guidance, and the direction of Your Holy Spirit to journey forward into the unchartered waters that lead to our destiny. Your Word reminds us that whatever we may go through, You, God, will never leave us nor forsake us, but You will be with us unto the end, Deuteronomy 31:8 (KJV). Thank You Lord. Amen!
